In the same way that we shoot whales with exploding tip harpoons, this highly visible graveyard serves as a warning to keep the rest of the recalcitrant trolleys in line, so they know what will happen if they start twitching and bucking like a rodeo bull, or if they won’t follow their masters orders and want to go off all maverick in their own direction with little regard to their duty. We’ll carve them up and stick their remains out for all to see like a head on a pig pole.
